Tom and Elaine Coleman (July 12 - July 19)
Tom’s world wide reputation in clay emanates from thirty five years of working in this medium as a full time artist. He has his BFA from the Northwest College of Art in Portland Oregon where he soon became the Head Ceramics Instructor. His MFA is from Reed College. Colemans work is part of countless public and private collections Collections with his work includes Sister City Collection, Japan, the Portland Art Museum, and The Contemporary Crafts Gallery’s permanent Collection.

Charlie and Linda Riggs (July 2 - July 9)
Charlie and Linda Riggs are known for their work with terra sigillata and their use of a unique blend of chemicals, wire, sawdust, and other organic material in the saggar firings which produce the palette of soft colors and designs ”fixed” on the finished burnished surface. Their work is found in public and private collections in t he U.S... & Norway.

Meira Mathison (August 3 - August 10)
Meira Mathison has maintained a studio, Dancerwood Pottery, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada for over 26 years. Meira is particularly noted for her unique high-fired altered porcelain and her distinctive Raku style and surface treatments.Meira’s work has been highlighted in many books and publications including, ’Clay and Glazes’ by Daniel Rhodes, ‘Ceramic Spectrum,’ by Robin Hopper, and ‘500 Tea Pots’ - ‘500 Bowls,’ Lark publishing.Since 1992 Meira has also been the much admired Executive Director of the Metchosin International School of Art in Victoria,B.C
